Strategic Plan 2009-2012

In 2009, LIBER published its Strategic Plan "Making the case for European research libraries”.

In 2009-2012 LIBER will focus on the following areas:

  1. Scholarly Communication
  2. Digitisation and Resource Discovery
  3. Heritage Collections and Preservation
  4. Organisation and Human Resources
  5. LIBER Services

Participation in EU projects

LIBER and its members participate in several projects funded by the EU.

Lobbying

LIBER has regular contacts with the European Commission and with other European institutions in order to make sure that the priorities of research libraries remain high on the agenda.
