Communications & Marketing Committee

LIBER has a membership of over 400 research libraries from more than 40 countries. It is the most important network of research libraries in Europe. Key elements are effective communication and the establishment of co-operative projects among its members.

LIBER's current strategic plan covers the period 2009-2012. This plan aims to increase substantially the visibility of the LIBER organisation, to entable it to play an effective leading role in Europe in a set of strategic areas and to become even more representative of European research libraries by recruiting more members. A Communications & Marketing Committee has been created to enhance networking and interaction with colleagues from member institutions and to attract more members, particularly in countries where LIBER is currently under-represented.
