Ales Pekarek joins the LIBER team as Communications and PR Officer
Ales Pekarek has joined the LIBER Office this week. He will be responsible for communication and PR activities relating to European projects in which LIBER is a partner and for planning, developing and implementing overall the PR strategies of LIBER.
Ales holds a MSc in information science from the Charles University in Prague, where he has been a lecturer in the field of public sector information re-use. He has several years experience in the management and promotion of European projects related to the development of information society and in the dissemination of their results.
He says: “LIBER has been involved in several very interesting and important projects, whose results and outputs contribute to the bright future of data and documents sharing across the digital Europe. I am happy to have an opportunity to take part in such exciting projects and to help LIBER with developing and implementing of effective communication of its activities towards the research libraries, researchers and other relevant stakeholders.”
