A new video, produced by The European Library, highlights some of the new content that will be added to Europeana through the Europeana Libraries Project.

Showcasing a selection of the 5 million objects, from 19 leading European research libraries, that will be be fed into Europeana, the video includes vintage medical film clips, ancient manuscripts and historical photographs. 

The content will include:

• 1,200 film and video clips
• 850,000 images
• 4.3 million texts (books, journal articles, theses, letters)
