The LIBER Association, established in 1971 (see the 'Association' Statutes here), was dissolved at the Annual General Assembly in Toulouse, France, on Friday 3 July 2009.

The LIBER Foundation (Stichting LIBER) was established on 12 January 2009 (see the 'Foundation' Statutes here), with its registered office in The Hague, The Netherlands.
