LIBER 2010 Annual Conference in Aarhus
LIBER came back from Aarhus seven weeks ago but in the meantime and despite summer holidays we have been busy, together with our colleagues in Aarhus, collecting, gathering and putting together all sorts of material e.g. presentations, videos, etc that have been mounted on the conference website.
OAI7 Call for Ideas - June 2011 Geneva
OAI7, the seventh CERN Workshop is meeting in the University of Geneva on 22 to 24 June 2011. The theme of the workshop is innovations in scholarly communication with particular attention to technical infrastructures and protocols, Open Access publishing, and community developments and solutions.
To maximise the impact of this workshop, the Organising Committee urges our communities to propose:
PARSE.insight Project: Final Gap Analysis Report
Deliverable 4.3 presents the final results of the gap analysis on digital preservation in Europe performed within the PARSE.Insight project. Gap analysis refers to the identification and in-terpretation of gaps between the current situation and what is necessary to enable secure long-term preservation of digital assets, with respect to particular groups of stakeholders.

Texts and Literacy in the Digital Age: Assessing the future of scholarly communication
Texts and Literacy in the Digital Age is a two-day conference jointly organised by the Leiden University (Book and Digital Media Studies), LIBER, Tiele-Stichting and the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (National Library of the Netherlands) to be held on 16 and 17 December at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek in The Hague, Netherlands.
