Re-Inventing the Library. The challenges of the new information environment

LIBER, the Association of European Research Libraries, is launching a call for papers and posters for its 2010 Conference on the theme of “Re-Inventing the Library. The challenges of the new information environment”.

Following the success of the previous conference held in 2006, the Foundation Rinascimento Digitale, in collaboration with the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Library of Congress, is delighted to announce the 2nd edition of “CULTURAL HERITAGE online - Empowering users: an active role for user communities”, to be held in Florence, Italy.

The 13th European Conference on Digital Libraries (ECDL 2009) will be held in the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece from 27 September to 2 October 2009. The general theme of the conference is "Digital Societies".

The Fourth LIBER Manuscript Librarians Group Conference will be held at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Rome, in May 2010.
